Your video files stay on your device

VidSlim runs FFmpeg WebAssembly in your browser. Selected videos, intermediate files and generated downloads are processed in browser memory and are not uploaded to VidSlim servers.

Website analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated traffic statistics such as page, route, referrer, country, browser, device type and operating system. Vercel states that Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies and does not collect identifiers that track visitors across websites. Video contents and selected file names are not sent through this analytics integration.

Session analytics

The site may use Microsoft Clarity to understand anonymous interaction patterns such as page visits, clicks, scrolling, browser and device information, heatmaps and reconstructed session recordings. VidSlim sends a denied analytics-storage consent signal by default, so the integration operates without Clarity cookies. Selected video file names are explicitly masked, and video contents are never provided to Clarity.

Local browser data

VidSlim does not require an account and does not intentionally store your videos in cookies or persistent browser storage. Temporary in-memory data is released when processing finishes, is cancelled, or the page is closed.
